Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Born on December 2 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model who is well-known for her roles in film and TV series. Brandt began her acting career with New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with the character of Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows in the last ten years including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. In 2016 Brandt has been taking on the character of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt came from Cape Town South Africa, however, she moved with her parents from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand in late teens. Brandt began modeling in print and television ads. Prior to her rise fame as a model she was employed in sales at retail and also served as a consultant in the field of recruitment for IT. She portrayed Leilani Fa'auigaese, a character from the New Zealand TV sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. In 2021, she made her first appearance on the big screen in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. The role she played was that of the character of slave Naevia. In the miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena she was back in the role of Naevia. Co-starring with actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began to play a bounty hunter demon dubbed Mazikeen on the Netflix series Lucifer. This is her biggest role up to now. In the series, she stars with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
